There is no other way to associate files from NP++ Preferences only if you start the app with Admin rights?

I’m using Win 7 64-bit. I have NP++ 64-bit. The file association using the Notepad menu (Settings -> Preferences…-> File Association) works only if I run Notepad as Administrator. This is the only way to do it from the settings?

Thanks. It would be nice to be implemented. I hope it will in the future version.

Well, it doesn’t look good as (a) that pull request is from 2018 and (b) it is a closed pull request.
