      Hi,
      I have been using npp for a long time but now I suddenly have the need to paste a block of text and I cannot figure out how. I am working in a 3270 environment, and stuck with the 80-char screen width - scrolling left and right. I often need to copy the content of a screen and past it in npp, then scroll right, copy next screen and paste it in npp to the right of the first screen (and again and again several screens) to be able to see the whole result as continuous lines if you see what I mean.

      Does anyone have a hint to help me out here?

      Kind regards
      Stein

          OK, I see now that if I paste in npp (below or in another window) and then do a block copy/paste it works. At least it is a workaround :)
          Thanks!

            @Stein-Garnes said in Block paste?:

            It would be nice to have a single-step way to do this. Perhaps a paste-special type thing where you can “Paste as rectangular block” (as long as what is in the clipboard is appropriate for that type of pasting).
