    Right clicking Host file and selecting edit with notepad++ returns error

      The error is “Shell error (2) Is this the correct address” . Sorry computer it is the correct address. What is causing this error? Host file has no extension, so you all know that. I can open Notepad or Notepad++ and do an Open and navigate to the file and open it ok. It also says Extension error.

        As I’m not using the installed version I’m not sure whether this tip might be useful in your case.
