Installing 7.82 - error!

Not sure who can look into this. I’ve been a user of Notepad++ for years. But I can’t install 7.82. I get 'Error opening file for writing - Files\Notepad++\plugins\NppExport\NppExport.dll …
Please advise!!

Update… Still an issue. First - it’s Program Files (not Files).
The issue seems to be that there is no NppExport folder. As a user I do not have permission to create this folder. I think the installer should be doing it anyway.
Anyone out there in Notepad++ land?? Please advise.

are you trying to install the official version or the one from the windows store?
On which OS?
In a cooperate environment or on private PC? -
No Worries. Figured out. We have a new security policy at work. I had to login as local admin to do any application software install.
