Installer translation
-
Hi,
I couldn’t find any information and files for the installer translation.
Does anybody know how to do it?Thanks!
-
@a-polivanchuk Have you read the NSIS Help? There should be a description of how to localize the installer.
-
@a-polivanchuk This should help you:
https://nsis.sourceforge.io/Creating_language_files_and_integrating_with_MUI -
Thank you for pointing me out in the right direction :)
Just to clear up the things:
I found the following SVN repo for the NSIS: Nullsoft Scriptable Install System which contains language files .nlf and .nsh:
https://sourceforge.net/p/nsis/code/HEAD/tree/NSIS/trunk/Contrib/Language files/
As I understand, these files are the source of installer translations and I should update them based on the English language of the files. Will try to manage it.

@a-polivanchuk The NP ++ installer seems to already have localization, what do you want to change there?

Hello, @a-polivanchuk
Please follow these steps to install translation:
Step 1:- Go to the Plugins menu.
Step 2:- Inside Plugins menu select Plugin Manager.
Step 3:- Inside Plugin Manager select Show Plugin Manager. Then open dialog box of plugin manager.
Step 4:- Under the dialog box select Translate and click on Install button.Note :-
After installed, access Translate from the Plugins menu. Under Translate menu you will get options like :- Translate Selected :- (To translate selected text from source to destination language), Translate Selected (Reverse Preference) :- (To translate selected text for destination to source language), Translate Code Style Strings :- (To translate code style strings) and Change Language Preference :- (To change the source and destination language preferences)
I hope above information will be useful for you.
Thank you.
