I already hate this forum

This is my first post, and I already hate the forum.
At the login page, there is no option to create a login. I must use Facebook or Google accounts.
I don’t have Facebook and I avoid Google. So, I’m kind of stuffed if I wish to ask a question.
Anyway, I have a Google account, which I hardly ever use. It’s just as well because i find that I am obliged to consent to both collection and processing of my personal information and to receive digest and notification emails from this website.
I really don’t want either, so I’m kind of stuffed if I wish to ask a question.
Are we detecting a theme yet?

Don’t know what you are talking about; I have been a member of this Community for a long time and I have never received an email from this site.
I would not be here if I had to create a Facebook login just to do so. Google, however, I can live with.

Perhaps that’s the “old” way. I felt I had to login (using Google) just to ask the question how to create an account. Perhaps you can do a tutorial?
