      Hi,

As stated in title, appearently a tiny bug in “Find”: when both checkboxes “Match whole word only” and “Match case” are checked, “Find” does not find a word at the beginning of a line.

Any idea on how to circumvent it?

      TIA

Is the cursor at the very beginning of the file (on the first line)?

Why don’t you provide a complete example of the manifestation of this? Show us the text that it fails on, and all your settings in the Find tab…

@andrecool-68 : >>>Is the cursor at the very beginning of the file (on the first line)?<<<
            Yes.
Actually, issue appears to come from Windows shell (cmd.exe) inserting some kind of non breaking space instead of plain space into a log file of mine: maybe some room for an improvement to Notepad++?
            Thanks for your help.

Are you trying to tell us that you are just getting around to following up on an issue you opened 16 months ago?
