      hello when i check update, i always got “No update is available”. now i have version 7.8.5 x64(latest 7.8.6 from 20.04.2020).

        This is a FAQ that doesn’t have an entry in the FAQ.

        There’s a time-delay between a new version coming out, and auto-updater being triggered.
        This is so that a critical bug doesn’t torch a huge number of users, just the “early adopters”.

        If you are so anxious for a new version, and you know (apparently) one exists, why don’t you go and get it manually and become an “early adopter”? :-)

          @Alan-Kilborn i always do it, but maybe add flag update anyway? i just don’t want tracking last npp i use or not) when auto-updater will work after release 1 week, 2 week or more?

            Well, not within MY power.
            It sounds like a FEATURE REQUEST but probably not one that will gain much traction.

            Personally, I wouldn’t be so concerned.
            Can you load/edit/save the text files you work on, with the version of Notepad++ you have?
            If yes, be glad. :-)
