      In Chrome, if I have 5 tabs open, if I press Ctrl+Tab+2, it goes to the second tab in the browser. Similarly, do we have a keyboard shortcut for NotePad ++? Please help.

        There is a GUI shortcut: menu “windows” then click the tab you want.
        So you can use keyboard shortcut

        • alt+w 1 for 1st tab
        • alt + w 2 for 2nd tab …

        Other solution even much easier.
        There are default shortcuts:

        • 1st Tab Ctrl + Numpad1
        • 2st Tab Ctrl + Numpad2
        • 3st Tab Ctrl + Numpad3

        You can customize those shortcuts as you wish

          Press: Tab - Go right

          Press: Shift+Tab - Go left

            @Hellena-Crainicu ,

            Those are the keystrokes for indenting or unindenting while editing. It has nothing to do with this 4-year-old question about how to change tabs (that is, change which file is active when you have multiple files open in Notepad++), which was already correctly and completely answered four years ago.
