CTLR+SHIFT+STAR/END shortcut isn't working

hi , I need help with setting up “select text till the end of file” & “select text till the start of file” shortcut
I normally do CTLR + SHIFT + START / END but its not working !

Check with the shortcut mapper window (Settings->Shortcut Mapper)
to see if these shortcuts are still set or whether another app
has “stolen” the shortcuts.
