I load many different log files throughout the day and would like to automatically View → Monitoring the files.

I was hoping there was a command line parameter for it, but I can’t see one.

    Any suggestions?

Knowing that you are able to write a plugin I would say this is the way to go. :-)

btw. there is this undocumented -z parameter
which could be a trigger for your plugin.
