Find previous not working on win32 notepad++ 7.8.x

Find previous function not working on my win32 notepad++ 7.8.x(both by shortcut and clicking search menu find previous option), seems resolved when i downgraded to 7.7.1. anyone observes same? if so, were can i report a bug? Thanks

It was an intentional change in v7.8.7, because find-previous doesn’t work how you think it will with regular expressions enabled. Find previous is still enabled for regular searches.
