          maybe the : menu-settings-preferences-misc : document switcher : enable mru behavior (most recent used) is causing your disappointment .

            Maybe a reasonable supposition.
            But why not let the OP say more?
            Replying to such a post only encourages questioners to put the minimum effort in.
            Instead it should be if GI then GO.
