Hidden FTP sidebar

I use Notepad++ on several computers and only on one of them I encounter problem with hidden FTP sidebar (Windows 7 64bit). If I turn the sidebar on, it looks empty. However it is possible to click invisible icons if you know where they should be. It looks like something covers that sidebar. I can’t identify what causes the problem.
