Tail -f freezing notepad++

Hi. Im trying to view a file in real time that is dumping alot of information. Once a certain amount of lines have been written 3k+, the app freezes or in this paused state. Is there a fix for this?

Really prefer using notepad++ rather then linux :p

I’ve never tried that intensive an applicatino of the tail-f monitoring feature in Notepad++.
You might want to play with various options in Settings > Preferences > MISC > File Status Autodetection to see if there’s a combo that makes the tail-f mode work better for you.
