About column mode

For work reasons, I often use column mode recently, and I found a problem when I use it frequently.
First: Copy the numbers in the excel sheet and paste them into notepad++ first, then press and hold alt and use the column mode to paste again, so there is no problem but the second time there is a problem.
Second: Copy the numbers of the excel table, directly press alt and use column mode to paste.
