Search and replace

I am editing a Gedcom-file with about 300.000 lines of text.
A normal line would be:
1 NAME John / Doe/but some lines have only:
1 NAMEWhat can i do to to remove only these lines?

I would give it a try with the following regular expression
find:
^\d+ NAME\h*$
replace with nothingThis means the following:
Each line begins with one or more digits, followed by a space, followed by the literal word NAME, followed by horizontal spaces, such as space, tab…, or not, and then ends. -
@ekopalypse said in Search and replace:
^\d+ NAME\h*$
Thank you this works fine for me.
Problem solved.
