Where are the opened files data saved?
I like the fact that I can open any new file and don’t need to save it.
Next time I open np++ I can see the same file and my work. What I want to know, what if np++ gets corrupted or something, I don’t want to lose my data, I know I can save the file but is it possible I can save these files cache and save that instead and just replace it there and get all my files and work back?
Hope you get my question.

What I want to know, what if np++ gets corrupted or something, I don’t want to lose my dataThis is really poor practice. Please do not rely on software to compensate for laziness .
SAVE YOUR WORK, EARLY AND OFTEN.
Cheers.

This EXACT thing happened several years ago and with N++ and I don’t really know that it can’t happen still.

As the others have said, if you don’t want to lose your data, then you need to take responsibility for your data.
If you care enough about your data to complain if the data is lost, and worry that it might be lost, you care enough to hit SAVE yourself, and research tools like the AutoSave Plugin and external tools like backups and version control.
Save Early, Save Often.
