        @stanl33k ,

        You can paste images directly into the forum; you don’t have to link to external sites that IT departments often block.

        When I took my phone off my IT’s network and went via data instead, I was able to see that you were pointing at the ###/### in Chrome’s incremental search:

        The Ctrl+F search doesn’t have that feature. But there is the Incremental Search (Ctrl+Alt+I or Search > Incremental Search) which comes close – always giving the match count and allowing easy back/forth navigation.

        If all you’re looking for is the total count, and don’t care about the numerator, Ctrl+F has the Count button, and Ctrl+Alt+I show that count as you are navigating.

        And in Ctrl+F with Normal Search Mode selected, you can hit the checkbox next to Find Next, and it then gives you the up and down navigation buttons there, too.

          yes, “numerator”.
          sometimes its very comfortable to remember order number of searching phrase instead number of line and immediately navigate through text

          can i hope devs team add it in future?

            You can hope, but it has a better chance if you make a real feature request out of it; see HERE for how to do that.
            Probably it doesn’t stand much of a chance, though, IMO.
