      I have come across an annoyance, but perhaps it is jut me overlooking a setting …

      I have two files open for compare.

      When I click at a position on a line, the screen jumps back to an earlier location on that line and thus I then have to go and find that location again and once again click in that location. Sometimes that is Ok, most time not.

      What I usually have to do is after the screen jumps backwards to an earlier position, I then have to move the cursor to the location I want to alter that text.

      Hope that makes sense.

      Appreciate your feedback.
      Cheers

        @krammig ,

        It might help you to turn on word wrap.

        When I have word wrap off, if I’m at quite on line#2 :

        and click on down on line#3, it scrolls the horizontal view left:

        I assume this is what you are annoyed by.

        If so, when I turn on word wrap, I can click back and forth between quite and down without any unexpected scrolling – because it all fits in one screen-width.

          @peterjones Excellent, thanks for that Peter. That did the trick.
