Copy text complete with syntax highlights and markings

Npp makes it soooo easy to highlight (mark) words in different colors (style tokens) on top of language-specific syntax highlighting. I am marking up a log file to show the progression of several issues.
I would really love to retain the style token colors in addition to the language-specific syntax coloring when copying, but I have only been able to maintain the syntax highlighting, not the style token coloring.
Any suggestions? -
I assume you are using the Plugins > NppExporter > Copy RTF To Clipboard or similar to get the syntax highlighting. @chcg officially supports that plugin, and there’s an issue tracker for that plugin. Some time ago (oh, two years ago tomorrow), I put in that request, but after a brief response, nothing happened. You might want to go put in your upvote and an explanation of why it would be useful to you.
Also, that issue referenced a discussion here… that discussion has scripts for the PythonScript plugin which might copy the extra formatting that you want. If you are willing to install that plugin, then those scripts might tide you over while waiting for an update to the NppExporter plugin.
