Windows 10 - NotePad++ v8.4.2 File Associations

I cannot associate .TXT files with NotePad++ 64bit on my Win10 Pro 64bit desktop.
EditPad Pro 8 has no such problem, using it for .TXT files now.
So why doesn’t NotePad++ allow associations in Win10?
This needs to be fixed. -
My Notepad++ v8.4.2 64bit works just fine for file association in Windows 10.

Found out I had to run NotePad++ as administrator.
Now all file associations work.My bad.
