    I don’t see anywhere where I can select the format of the Notepad++ window to be vertical and side-by-side so I can compare them easily.

    I see an icon to “Synchronize Vertical Scrolling” but what good is it if I can only see one of my files??

    Thanks!!! :)

      @Nancy-Tietz ,

      View > View/Clone Current Document > Move to Other View will move one of the two files to the other view. Or right clicking on the tab’s title, and finding the equivalent Move to Other View action.

      • online documentation for move/clone commands

      Also, you might want to download the ComparePlus plugin using the Plugins Admin, as that will make comparing the two files even easier, since the comparison is built into that plugin.

        @PeterJones THANKS! I was confused by the term “Move to other View”… I do have the Compare plugin but with very large files (trace files) I found it took a VERY long time to load.
        Thanks for your help!!
