Text marking?

I have the latest version of Notepad++ for Windows.

Since the latest update, when I edit there is a colored bar running down the left margin, and printouts have a light grey background for every line with text.

How do I stop this?

It’s called change history. Read this post.

Think about it before turning off, you may like the idea.

@Terry-R Thanks for the fast help!

It looks like a good thing, but not when I’m printing!

I’ve been using N++ for years now, it’s my default text editor, I would hate to have had to change.
