    Search In Files does not work for PDF

      I am trying find all PDF files containing a particular word using “Search in Files” feature of Notepad++ but it given zero results even when I know there are files containing that word.
      Please note there is no sub-folder in that folder on which I am executing search and also option for sub-folder is checked.
      Anything else needs to be done for PDF?

        PDF files aren’t text files; they are binary files.
        Notepad++ is a text editor.
