      I recently purchased a new computer. Everything is working fine except for NotePad++. NP++ itself work fine but when I attempt to print a file I get an error message "Your printer has experienced an unexpected configuration problem. Ox80040003. All other app have no problem printing.

      I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8610.

        @James-A-Wilson ,

        As indicated in this recent discussion, it seems that HP printer drivers are for some reason requiring Notepad++ to be Run As Administrator in order to print. Hopefully that will work for you, too.

        Whether or not Admin mode works, if you have a github account, please you follow this FAQ to create an official Notepad++ bug report. Make sure you follow the bug template, and include your ?-menu’s Debug Info; also, if you can share your printer driver info (the driver version, etc), that might help the developers find the problem. Also, in your bug report, say whether or not switching to Run As Admin worked for you. If you do make that bug report, then please follow the advice in the FAQ and post a link to your issue in this discussion.

        As an alternate workaround, if you have a PDF Printer / Print to PDF printer available on your new PC, you could print-to-PDF from Notepad++, then use your PDF viewer (like Adobe Acrobat) to print to your real printer. (I know, that’s probably unsatisfactory to you… but if Admin mode doesn’t help for you, then it might be your only short-term option, until the developers can address your bug report.)
