Binary file does not reload with the HEX-editor

I have this problem with the HEX-Edit plugin: when the file is replaced in background, N++ properly detects this and prompts to reload.
But in fact the displayed content is NOT updated.Even when I do File/Reload from disk, the content is not updated.
Only close & re-open gets the new content displayed.But with other files (for example text file updated by notepad) all is good.
Anyone else sees this issue?
Not sure is this caused by a specific plugin or “base” N++.NPP version 8.5.1 and 8.4.9, Hex-edit v. 0.9.12

“base” Notepad++ has no problem with File > Reload From Disk. The symptoms you have described are almost definitely related to the HEX-Edit plugin, not Notepad++ itself. You can try to put in an issue here, but there are a lot of open issues on that plugin, and I won’t guarantee that it will be fixed. (The release history over the last few years seems to focus mostly on “crashes”, not any new features or minor bug improvements.)
