    How to find and dock Search Results window at bottom of page

      I accidentally undocked the Search Results pane. If that happens in Excel, you can sometimes redock it by dragging it to one of the corners of other panes. When I tried this, my Search Results pane disappeared. How do I get it to reappear and then dock it at the bottom of the main display window? Thanks

        Firstly in the current session of running Notepad++ you will only get the window to display (even if off screen) if you have completed a search. Otherwise you cannot invoke the panel.

        That said, there is a FAQ post (which is always a good place to start looking for answers) here. I think it will help you.

          Thank you Terry R, updating the Config.xml file did the trick.
