I have Notepad++ 8.1.5 on Windows Server 2012. We cannot update the OS. NPP is installed under my user dir under c:\users\MYUSER\Apps\Notepad++.

I tried to install the Autosave plugin using the Plugin admin. NPP stopped and did not restart. When I look around at the files I see 3 files under plugins\AutoSave.

I cannot restart this multi-user server myself. I use it via Remote Desktop.

Is there another config file I should check to make sure AutoSave got installed correctly? How do I get this to work?

      Thank you.

@bulrush15 I got it working when I installed NPP 8.6.5. I had a “regsvr” error the first time I installed it and NPP never really updated. It’s updated now.
