Data corrupt after upgrade to 8.6.9

I have important notes.
They encounter the notepad is suddenly shutdown. After I execute it.
The content is all disappear.
I have encounter twice.
The file is put at external HDD.
There are no accident before
But It happen after It auto upgrade to 8.6.9- How can I recover my file?
I have tried recovery aapliication.
They are useless.

Does anyone encounter same problem too?Yes, a key common element is people who fail to back up or make copies of their important notes.
Take a look at FAQ: Periodic Backup vs AutoSave as it’s possible you had already enabled one of the backup mechanism that are available for Notepad++.
