Colour background not saved with .txt file
-
I created a form for a roleplaying game character sheet, and painstakingly styled the backgrounds of certain headers using Search > Style one token. When I saved the file and reloaded it, the coloration was not preserved: the backgrounds were paper-white again.
How do I persist the colour? Here is the debug info from the ? menu option:

Please read our FAQ: Notepad++ is a Text Editor, not a Word Processor

@PeterJones So what is the use case for Style one token if it can’t be saved with the styled text?

@Richard-Darwin said in Colour background not saved with .txt file:

Temporary highlights for use while you are actively reading or editing your textual data.

How do I persist the colour?
You can export (but not import back to N++!) “what you see in N++” to the rich text format (or html) and continue in a WP-SW (WordPad, MS Word etc).
