      Hello everyone,

I have been using notepad++ for years, and it has been fine till recently. I need to show some Unicode characaters like ㊤ ㊦, but they are displayed as a rectangle symbol instead. But on the webpage, they are displayed correctly. And when I go to the simple windows standard notepad, these characters are displayed correctly, too.

I am not sure what the root cause is, but if it’s a bug in notepad++, can we have the fix as soon as possbile, as this matters to me.

      Thank you,

      Kwen

Notepad++ itself is not restricted from showing glyphs for those characters:

Either your font doesn’t support it, or you need to try to toggle your setting for the Settings > Preferences > MISC > Use DirectWrite and restart Notepad++
