      Hi,

I cannot get Notepad++ to display the character ⋆ (U+22C6). It is stored correctly, as I can copy it from Notepad++ to, e.g., WordPad or the Windows Run dialog, which display it correctly. WordPad shows that the Font used is Segoe UI Symbol, and the Windows character map tool confirms that the character is available. If I choose “Global Styles – Global override – Segoe UI Symbol” in Notepad++, the character is not displayed correctly but as an empty box. I tried a few fonts, but they all just show an empty box.

Does Notepad++ show the character for you? Do I have to change some other setting/…?

@Carl-Johnson said in Unicode character not displayed correctly:

        DirectWrite : OFF

I see this in your settings; turn it ON.
