Preserve creation file date&time (ctime)

    Hi,
    as many text editors, NPP seems to not conserve creation date of their text files. While this may be not important for source code editing, for web content it IS often important. So it would be nice for NPP to preserve file creation date of edited files.

      I just tested it and it (N++ 8.7.6) seems to not change the “creation date” that the file system maintains. But maybe you have further data to supply, about a specific scenario?

        I tried on my network NAS (webdav), created date/time did not change when I opened, updated & saved an old file using N++:
