      Hello,
I’m having a problem with my toolbar and all of a sudden… I. always keep it on, using the standard icons. However, lately whenever I launch npp, the toolbar is not there. The only way I can make it show up is by going into the settings, and checking the box to hide it, and unchecking it again. I’ve tried pretty much everything I can think of… I even uninstalled, completely deleted all registry items referring to Notepad++, and every folder on the hard drive that was associated with it. I also tried deleting the config file to create a new one. So… I’m out of ideas :-(.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

          Hello Buddy,

I would try the portable NP++ (download the Zip/7z package).

          Regards.

I use the Customize Toolbar plugin, which is useful in itself. Might just fix your problem.

Good suggestion by Yaron. I never install anything if/when I have a Portable Alternative, or if I can rig one. Windows and the user shall be happier that way.
