Is there any reason why particular files won’t open in NPP? I am working on several sass files (.scss) and I can open a bunch of them, but there is a particular group of files that I can’t open. I have a long list of sass files, and I can open files 1-100 and 107-120, but not 101-106, they’re all scss files. Anyone have any idea why they might suddenly not open? I can choose Rename file and Delete file, but Download file does nothing, just for these files. Thanks!

Is there maybe a filename length limit for NPP ? The files I want to open have fairly long filenames…

You are possibly asking someone who hasn’t been on the forum for a long time, and the post is really old as well.

Why don’t you just explain the issue you are having and maybe a current forum member can help you?

We’d need to know the file type (normally the file extension) as that can have a bearing on the issue. Also where it’s located. Consider copying that file to a folder close to the root (something like C:\temp folder) and see if it opens.

What happens when you try to open the file?

            Terry
