      Hi,

I was hoping someone might be able to tell me how to configure Notepad++ so that I use my Logitech G15 macro keyboard to record a quick macro inside of Notepad++.

The problem I’m running into is that when I go to save my keyboard macro it keeps cancelling the macro. What I’m doing is hitting the MR key on the keyboard for a quick macro record, then I type what I want macro’d, and then I’m supposed to hit the MR key again to save the macro. But when I hit the MR key on the keyboard to save the macro it says macro cancelled.

Not this only happens inside of Notepad++ so I’m thinking there is something going on inside of the program but I’ve been unable to figure out what.

      Any help would be welcome.

      Thanks,

      Andy

Well I guess I should have done some more research. It appears the Logitech application requires admin privileges with Notepad++.

Not sure why when this works in normal notepad but when I launch the Logitech LCore.exe with administrative privileges it works.

If someone could tell me why Notepad++ is acting differently than notepad that would be nice. I always try to learn something new.

        Thanks,

        Andy
