Instability on version V6.8.6

Hi, I’m reporting some problems with the v6.8.6 that i never had with other versions. I´m using windows 8 and manly editing asp pages, and some times when i have 5 or 6 files open it crash and the file were i’m working loses all content. There is already a version that can prevent this error?
