      If i run notepad++ (full screen) on the left of my two monitors, and use “ctrl+alt+r” (right direction), the autocomplete shows up on the other monitor instead…

        Hello wisemike2,

        currently I don’t have a dual monitor setup but I remember from the past that
        graphic manager software, especially nvidia nview, made some trouble.
        Could this be in your case as well?

          I do have NVIDIA GeForce GT 610.

          Any suggestions or special settings to fix that?

            Do you have the nvidia specific manager software installed?
            I don’t talk about the driver, the software which allows you to manage
            multiple monitors formerly known as nview manager. If so,
            there was a possibility to disable the software and rerun the test.
