Notepad ++ Open with boxe

    The notepad ++ files is just a white icon and the file name am I not saving the file correctly? Also how do I get the open with box to disappear and it open directly with notepad ++?

      No, this is standard windows behaviour. As long as windows doesn’t know how a particular
      file, identified by its extension, has to be opened, it will show a white icon.
      So what you need to do is to register it. This can be done by double click on the file
      and when open with box appears, do select notepad++ and check the box
      always use the selected program to open this kind of file.

      Done.

        I do not have that option. How can I fix this?

          I assume because you have files without an extension? Could this be?
          If not, make a screenshot and upload it (e.g imgur.com )

            I saved it as a .txt file and then I get the box thanks for the help!
