newbie and auto complete gone since update

sorry peeps am complete newbie so don’t know the correct way to say - but yesterday when I was writing some php and html when I used any of the following { [ " or even the stuff in < etc it always put the ending one as well - now since the update this morning it doesn’t and I am getting loads of errors coz I forget to put the endings. Please how do I get them back the auto things

please check the settings under
Settings->Preferences->Auto-Completion->Auto-Insert
are still set.Cheers

Auto completion set as enable auto completion on each input /function and word completion and hint on input
Auto-insert ticks in all of the boxes on the left all of the patched pair boxes on the right are blankplease advise further thank you

I would give it a try to uncheck the auto insert boxes, restart npp and recheck it.
Maybe the settings have got corrupted.Cheers

Thank you that sorted out the php which is great coz still learning that language,
the html I can live with not doing automatically coz am used to doing it.

I assume your lexer is set to php when putting in html code but this isn’t working.
Only html land xml lexer will do this, if html/xml close tag has been check.Cheers
