      Hey,

      I using notepad++ 6.9 version.

I’ve known to toggle insert(INS) or replace(OVR) mode with insert key.

However It could not changed by key, only mouse left click.

I confirmed Scintilla commands ‘SCI_EDITTOGGLEOVERTYPE’ of the shortcut mapper, which has INS.

Is this a bug or not ?

What can I check more setting or plugins ?
      Please let me know.

      Thanks.

        Hello @darmma_ahn,

the first thing which came to my mind is that another function has occupied the INS.
Could you check with shortcut mapper if this is the case?

        Cheers
        Claudia

          Hello, @Claudia-Frank

          Thanks for your advice.

I’ve checked another commands of shortcut mapper.
At last I found it ‘Insert snippet’ in plugin commands, which duplicated as INS, too.
It’s good working after I removed it in that.

I think it can be better to check duplication key when registered it with shortcut mapper.

A single click on the INS/OVR button in the bottom right corner of the Notepad++ window toggles the mode. (That is the right end of the status bar.) Tested with Notepad++ v7.3.1 (32-bit). See http://docs.notepad-plus-plus.org/index.php/Keyboard_And_Mouse_Shortcuts
