HEX Editor plugin is marked non-stable and is disabled on each update

What pops into eye is version number inconsistency:
FILEVERSION = 0, 9, 5, 0
PRODUCTVERSION = 0, 9, 5, 0
FileVersion = 0.9.5
ProductVersion = 0.9.5
Notice zero absence in the CamelCase values.Comparing with other plugins, they all have equal number of digits.
According to the “Legal” field, this plugin was developed by Jens Lorenz.

Do NPP project have a centralized repository for plugins?I updated binary on my PC, so hopefully, next update will not disable HEX Editor.
However, I’d like to see a thoughtful update through sources etc.Thanks,

Can somebody explain the specifics of the hex editor instability? I have used the unicode version for years through numerous versions of NPP, with gigabyte files, and have never experienced anything resembling instability - no lockups, crashes, or lost files, no unexpected results. The existence of a decent hex editor is one of the many virtues of NPP. If a problem needs to be fixed, the first step is to define and characterize the problem.

I know that if the Notepad settings structure doesn’t exist in the user’s AppData area, the plugin will hang upon launch of Notepad++.
