      Hello,

I’ve registrered my plugin on this site at the end of 2015 :
      http://www.brotherstone.co.uk/npp/pm/admin/plugins

Since then, I’ve kep the site updated with the lastest release of my plugin, patiently waiting for it to appear in the list of available plugins. But 8 months later, it’s still not there :/

I’ve read somewhere that the .xml containing the list of plugins must be manually updated which would explain why my plugin dosn’t who up. Does anyone know when this list gets updated?

      Thank you,

      Julien

It is whenever the author of the plugin manager does it. Sometimes a few weeks, other times like now…several months. There are technical reasons to not do it very frequently, however there is no real schedule. I have been hesitant to register some of my plugins lately because if for some reason they had a critical bug then I have no idea how long it would take to get another update out.

It would be nice if there was a better solution, it is greatly impacting plugin developers and N++ users.

            Hi,

Sorry for the late answer : Yes! Finally my plugin is available through the plugin manager! Thanks for the good news =)

I guess the author of the plugin manager saw this post?

I agree with you on the update problem. The solution I chose for now was to build my own auto-update system (I guess this is what most plugins are doing) but this adds a step to plugin developpment and surely does not encourage them :/

I’m not so lucky. None of my plugins are in the manager…I recall having contacted Hans or whatever the plugin guy’s name is months ago… but I haven’t tried the url you refer to - nor do I have a login for it.

              Any suggestions?

AFAIK that URL is the only way to register new plugins. And then you have to wait for months ;)
