Search Results Window No Longer Displaying

A few days ago, I started having problems with my search function. When I select “Find all in current document”, the search results window flashes on, then off and I can’t get any search results. What setting do I need to change to fix this?

there was an incident in the past which was solved by renaming %APPDATA%\notepad++ directory.
It will be recreated but this could mean that you might have to copy over files from old to new directory.Cheers
