XML Tools - Validation Issue

Trying to use XML Tools to validate an xml file. Get the error: "Failed to locate the main schema resource at <URL>. When I click on the URL specified, I can access it in a browser with no issues. I’m thinking it may be an issue somewhere with trusting the site. Can anyone offer advice on how to get past this error?

first check if you are using the latest version and if so,
maybe @morbac can help if you can provide an xml file in question.

This seems to be an issue with the https / TLS connection - at least in my case it works fine without https in front - with https I receive this error.

Maybe this can be fixed easily in the next version.
