Compare Bug

I’m comparing 2 IO files and when I select the option to “Align Matches” Notepad is moving some numbers, Quotes, and backslashes. If I clear the results and compare them again it will delete them. It never shows a change has been made the floppy disk icon on the tab at the top stays blue, where red would indicate I made a change to the file.
If I don’t “Align Matches” it doesn’t give me the same issue but it makes it almost impossible to compare a lot of code.
I can provide screen shots if needed.

Which version of ComparePlugin are you using?
Could you please submit a new issue about that at https://github.com/pnedev/compare-plugin and provide the screen shots there?

Compare Version 1.5.6 I’ll post a sample of what I’m seeing at the link you provided.

I’ve posted a sample screenshot and circled some of the errors on the page.

Resolved.
I’ve tested the Compare Plugin Version 1.5.6.8 and the problem has been resolved. Works like a charm.
