Tab page title with limited size

Preferences / General / Tab Bar:
there’s no option to limit the size to the name of the loaded files. I have a file 120 characters long which I often use and takes up most of the space on the tabs bar.
I’m aware there’s a simple workaround for this, at the same time this is a useful and very common option to find.Thanks for your great software which I use every day.
