      Hello!

I am having an issue with my Notepad++.
I have a file that has the tilde (~) symbol as a column separator within a text file, but my Notepad++ for some reason changes the ~ symbol into a line feed when I load the file into my Notepad++.
      So it goes from this:

      Jon~Smith~01/01/1969~M~

      To this:

      Jon
      Smith
      01/01/1969
      M

I am wondering if someone can help me out and let me know if there is something within my settings that I need to change or whatever fix there is to get this file to display correctly.

      Thanks!!

          Hi!
          I unfortunately can’t post a file.
The line that I have listed in my post is the closest example I can provide.

          Thanks!

the reason why asking for the file is because I assume that it
isn’t an ascii tilde but something else.
Why do you assume it must be a tilde?
Because some other app is showing it like that?
Can you create such a file with this app and upload it?

            Cheers
