Automatically open files and files in subfolders

Hello,
I use Notepad ++ already a considerable time. I use it often to edit a large number of text files “automatically”.
I am unfortunately missing a function, which some time ago possessed and I do not find it again.
How can I tell Notepad ++ that it should open all files in a folder including the files in subfolders of the order?
That went with me once, I unfortunately do not know whether by default or with a plugin.
